Review:

WeiB Kreuz is brought to you by the famous seiyuu by the name of Koyasu Takehito (Hotohori in Fushigi Yuugi, Ryuji from DNA^2, Jinpu from Rurouni Kenshin, the list is endless) and the anime is made of up Japan's most famous seiyuu as well, so it could be called the Seiyuu anime.

WeiB Kreuz is based on a group of assasins named WeiB (white). Their duty is to kill criminals who get past the law, so, in other words, they're supposed to be good guys even though they perform the act of murder. WeiB consists of (left to right in picture) Aya, Omi, Ken and Youji, each having a mastery of their specific weapon and each having a traumatic past. It is basically because of their pasts that Persia (the man who gives WeiB their missions to kill) takes them to make them into the group of WeiB.

The storyline is quite simple, kill the bad guys before they perform more evil. This anime was aired around midnight in Japan because of the supposed violence, however, even though there is killing, there is no site of blood, chopped heads or whatever, so it's not very graphic. The OAV is much more graphic than the anime series.

Good guys usually have enemies, and WeiB's enemy is a group of psychics named Schwarz (black). The first season of the anime focuses on Takatori, a man who is infamous for placing his blame on innocent people, whereas the second season is based on Aya's sister, Aya, who was comatised due to Takatori's actions.

The manga is only 2 volumes, which deals with the life of Ran Fujimiya (Aya) and how he joined WeiB. Of course, Aya is the main character in the series, thus Koyasu Takehito is his voice actor.

The character's personalities are well brought out, however, in the anime, the drawings of the characters are very disappointing, thus detracting from the series itself. The music is brilliant, and it is recommended to listen to WeiB Kreuz music if you like Jrock, but the plot of the anime is mundane. It kind of reminds you of the Magical School-Girl series where each episode is just finding the bad guy and killing them, not a lot of variation.
